In which year was the planet Pluto discovered?

    Question #71864. Asked by Saiqa.

    Brainyblonde

Pluto is a planetary oddball, a strange world that has baffled scientists ever since it was discovered in 1930.

Pluto is no longer considered the last planet by virtue of the new (August 2006) definition of a planet.

    1930.

The real question is though, is it a planet :O

I don't think you are supposed to answer that :)
