It is believed that there were two residences of his workshop, situated rather closely to each other in a certain European country. A shrine is dedicated to him at a famous historical site, yet the largest statue of him is situated in the Deep South of the United States. Who is it, where are the two residences, and what was a signifigant 'activity' the Romans participated in during a festival in his honour?

Must be Vulcan, whose smithies were thought to be located under Mt. Etna or under the island of Vulcano. The Romans used to like to throw fish and small animals (WHAT animals? I want to know) into a fire on his festival, and then there's that very big thing in Alabama:

Yeehar Frankie, Vulcan is the one. The big thing in Alabama intrigues me. I'd really like someone with a real southern accent sing "Moon Over Homewood", wouldn't you?

Wonder who we could get to volunteer? Hmmmmm

I can think of someone. Can he carry a tune?

Oh, I reckon he can, if you ask him nicely and flutter your eyelashes.

YOU flutter your eyelashes. I have to direct my eyelash activity elsewhere.

I'd do better by coaxing him with some almond biscotti, but I would love to see the look on his face if you did the fluttering. *she grins*

Let's see, the harmonics range is probably a little rusty, okay, corroded is more like it. Does feel a bit chilly out there, even for Georgia.

Corroded? You think I didn't hear you in the shower? ;)
