    		Gerald Ford -- A football star in high school, Ford attended the University of Michigan on an athletic scholarship. Although he has often been referred to as a former All-American football player, he did not make the first team at Michigan until his senior year, when he was named the team's most valuable player and was picked for the College All-Star Game.
