Why do engineers often use superheated steam to transfer heat?

They do if it's available onsite, but it can cause quite a few problems. It's not the best means of transferring heat - saturated steam is better for this purpose - but if superheated steam is there, they use it. http://www.spiraxsarco.com/learn/modules/2_3_01.asp
