Lyrics are from "Freebird" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. On The Simpsons episode "The Otto Show", the bus driver Otto takes Bart's guitar and plays a loud guitar riff. The kids cheer and are very impressed, so Otto says that he is going to slow it down a little. He starts to play Free Bird, including singing the lyrics in his very raspy voice.
