    In mechanical engineering, Power Take-Off. You don't tend to get Parent Teacher Organisations or poetry or phantoms in mechanics..... I did work in one factory that was supposed to be haunted, though. More than half of the staff believed in this ghost. What really worried me was that I couldn't convince them there was nothing there. And I should know - I invented it......

    To pick the nits that pick, 19 of the answers I posted apply to mechanics and engineering. :-}

    And to pick the picker of nits that pick, why are the others that don't apply there? Good ol' copy & paste nicked your pick. :-)

    What I'm pondering is whether the 'PTO Pick to Order' example was miraculously slipped in just to alleviate potential comic aesthetics?

    May I place my order?

    That was a bit more than copy and paste. As for the unrelated answers....Education through information.
