The inventor of the Infradraw Method (whatever the heck that was) for winning on the pools. Also he was the sponsor of some of the most boring programmes on the old Radio Luxemburg - the Deep River Boys and so on - I'm not too sure he didn't use the Mike Sammes Singers as well. Mind you, at least you got to hear the whole of a song. The record company programmes tended to fade out after only a minute or so so they could get about 12 records into 15 minutes. There is an amusing record called "Talking Football Pool Blues" which relates how the narrator wins the jackpot. After the win: "Had a big post the next day.......... A whole lotta friends wrote to me least, they said they were my friends..... there was one letter, with a first class Stamp and the postmark was Keynsham..spelt K-E-Y.... I didn't tell HIM!
