    The Cunard Building at 25 Broadway is well worth going into, to see the Great Hall which was inspired by the Baths of Caracalla at Rome.

    Inspired by the Baths of Caracalla in Rome, the waiting room of Pennsylvania Station in New York City was one of the grandest public spaces in the United States. The station, designed by the architectural firm of McKim, Mead, and White and completed in 1910, was demolished in 1964 to make way for the new Madison Square Garden.

    Definitely Penn Station. Charles McKim was one of the foremost proponents of the classicizing, Italianate Beaux Arts style:
