Connecticut's official website does not list any official state dog -- just state bird and state animal (sperm whale).

I'm not sure all states have adopted official 'State Dogs.' I do know Maryland's State Dog is the Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Virginia's is the American Fox Hound. Here is a site that lists State Mammals. I haven't located one on official state dogs. http://www.geobop.com/Symbols/Animals/Mammals/
