    Lake Compounce is a theme park located in Bristol, Connecticut and a small part of the neighboring town of Southington, Connecticut. It is the oldest continuously operating amusement park in North America, having operated since 1846. The park covers 332 acres (1.3 km²) of land.

    Ah, I get it! Tolkien is asking for An amusement park in which all the settings and attractions have a central theme, such as the world of the future. Hmm...looking into it!
