Traditionally the Glasgow football club Celtic was a club assiciated with catholics. Is there a club in the English football league with similar ties?

There's not been any real connection for years. The only difference in supporters is that the Everton ones tend to keep it a bit quiet that they support Everton, compared with the let the world know style of the Liverpool supporters. Tranmere supporters north of the river keep even quieter about it. This isn't because of any fear of violence, but to avoid fairly gentle leg-pulling. Dec 20 06, 8:16 AM
