It is said that Walt found his inspiration for Disneyland while visiting the merry-go-round at Griffith Park with his daughter, Diane, and later her younger sister, Sharon. As his daughters went endlessly round and round, Walt started day-dreaming about building a park that would be entertaining to parents as well as children.
