In poker, each person is dealt two cards (hole cards) and then five cards that everyone can use are placed face-up and you have to make the best five card hand out of those seven cards. The first three are called the flop, the fourth is called the turn, and the fifth is called the river. A flush is you have five cards of the same suit, a straight is when you have any five cards in a row (ex. 8-9-10-J-Q) and a straight flush is when you have five cards in a row of the same suit. Suited connectors are two cards dealt to you of the same suit that are one apart (ex: 9-10 of hearts).
