What do the movies 'The Apartment', 'Fade to Black' and 'Pulp Fiction' all have in common?

One similarity that I see is that the director of each also gets a writing credit. There are several films called "Fade to Black" but this holds true for more than one.

"The Apartment" (1960) - Director: Billy Wilder, Writers: Billy Wilder and I.A.L. Diamond

"Fade to Black" (1980) Director: Vernon Zimmerman, Writer: Vernon Zimmerman

"Fade to Black" (2001) Director: Mel House, Writer: Mel House

"Fade to Black" (2006) Director: Oliver Parker, Writers: David Ferrario, Oliver Parker

"Pulp Fiction" (1994) Director: Quentin Tarantino, Writers: Quentin Tarantino, Roger Avary

Sorry Spanish, that's not it, not even close. Here's a hint, a VERY good hint...in each film there is someone who looks like a famous person...who's the famous person?
