    Which Latin phrase was first used for the year 1588 and then again for the year 1759?

    		I'll offer "annus mirabilis," but there is conflicting information about this. One site states that the term was used particularly to refer to the year 1665-66 and even to 1905. The site below refers to 1588 for first use:
