How do they make steel less spoons?

Question #73932. Asked by kirstymd. (Dec 30 06 12:39 PM)

Not quite sure I understand the question, but you can make spoons out of many things. Plastic, bronze, pewter, tin, plated brass, wood, silver, gold, aluminium, EPNS - all have been used. The term 'steel less' with regard to metal appears to apply to certain things made of aluminium (probably an alloy as pure aluminium is fairly soft), in which case they will most likely be stamped out of sheet metal.
