    How many rings does Saturn have?

    Saturn has 7 rings.They where each given a letter in there order of discovery, from 'a' to 'g', that makes 7.

    Saturn has 7 groups of rings, 4 main groups and 3 fainter groups
    however the actual number of rings is unknown, but it is thought to be around 1,000

    You can see ten or twelve of them with a good telescope. But, if seen from a spacecraft, it looks like Saturn has nearly 30 rings.
