    Why Time Magazine does not publish in the first week of 2007. There are only two issues between 12/25/06 to 1/15/07. Could anyone explain this? http://www.time.com/time/searchresults?N=46

    The 12/25/06 issue is called a double issue. If you look in the upper left-hand corner you will see it says "December 25, 2006/January 1, 2007. Most weeklies to that. Notice that it has 200 pages.
