    The fake 'country' of Seborga has its own 'currency', the Luigini. Why did the ISO give this currency an official status (that is, an ISO code)?

    Your guess is as good as mine. It should be noted that the "luigino" has no legal value outside of the, um, "principality" of Seborga.

    I think the ISO is simply reluctant to engage in combat with anyone:
