What is the oldest American breed of horse?

Question #74815. Asked by morrigan. (Jan 22 07 12:51 AM)

    queproblema

I think it's the Morgan horse, but don't have a clear reference.

    "Morgan horse
    From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    Jump to: navigation, search
The Morgan is one of the first horse breeds developed in the United States."

"One of the first" doesn't mean the first.
