In Egyptian mythology a soul traveled to Duat, a nebulous place where the soul and brain were weighed against the weight of a feather by Anubis, and if your soul was heavier than the feather, it was consumed by the beast Ammut. Who were the two advocates in Egyptian myth who argued to save a person's soul?
