Who was England's smallest queen, and (of course) how tall was she (and her husband too while we're at it)?

    Question #75155. Asked by Baloo55th. (Jan 29 07 12:23 PM)

That seems to be Matilda of Flanders, wife of the Conqueror. She was apparently 4'2", while her husband was 5'10".

That's genuine dwarfism, especially when you consider that average heights in Europe during the 11th century were greater than in the 19th.

They had a rather interesting courtship too, apparently... She was 10" shorter than Victoria. I found this one while looking up various queens for Flem-ish's question, having forgotten Berengaria.

In history many monarchs have been known as King and Queen. I can understand that because Queen Elizabeth II was an heir to the throne that her husband would be known as Prince and not a King, but what would happen if it was reversed and a male was the King, would his wife be called Queen or Princess?

What is the smallest baby that was ever born that survived? How much did he weigh, and how tall was he?
