Which president was attacked by piranha in Brazil and asked to be left in the Amazon to die?

Question #7552. Asked by ash. (Nov 03 00 1:10 AM)

No United States president has ever been attacked by piranha or expressed a wish to be left in the Amazon to die. Theodore Roosevelt visited Brazil in 1913 and apparently returned with tales of these ferocious fishes and yet another presidential myth was born. http://www.50megs.com/piranha/mythpira.html
