What is another name for a sea eagle?

If you are doing a crossword the answer would be ERNE.

The kite is nothing to do with any sort of eagle, let alone a sea eagle. Skysmom is right with erne. But no-one in birdwatching calls it an erne, unless they're being awkward (aukward? in joke....) and the sort of person who talks about green plovers as well.

The question originally had a crossword clue of _i_e, which accounts for the suggestion of kite.
We don't keep crossword clues, but the question was acceptable without the clue, so I kept it.

Obviously an ignorant crossword setter. Kites and sea eagles are both members of the raptor group, but so are vultures. And sparrows, ravens and shrikes are all part of the passeriformes but you can't call a raven a sparrow.
