Which of the following are electrolytes/non electrroyltes: Barium Chloride, sucrose and calcium bromide?

    Question #75688. Asked by SciencePr2. (Feb 10 07 9:53 AM)

Most metallic salts are electrolytes - the main reservation is their solubility. If they won't dissolve in water, they won't be electrolytes (except perhaps in the molten stage). Many soluble organic compounds are not electrolytes - sucrose is one of them. So your two salts, both being soluble, are electrolytes and sucrose isn't.
