What was the name of the man and the goggled stray bulldog that joined him in Idaho on a cross country trip from San Francisco to New York City in 1903 in a Winston horseless carriage and where are the dogs goggles along with pictures and stories displayed now?

Horatio Nelson Jackson and his dog Bud made this first cross-country trip by auto. The car is in the Smithsonian, and apparently the goggles were donated, too.
