Juan Manuel Fangio
The first Formula One World Championship was won by Italian Giuseppe Farina in his Alfa Romeo in 1950, barely defeating his Argentine teammate Juan Manuel Fangio. However, Fangio won the title in 1951, 1954, 1955, 1956 & 1957, his streak interrupted by two-time champion Alberto Ascari of Ferrari.

Fangio was, as MandyL says, the first to win five World Championships. If you are asking who was the first to win five races (Grands Prixs), the answer seems also to be Fangio. (This is assuming that we are talking about the 'modern era', which began in 1950.)
Both he and Nino Farina won three races in 1950. Fangio got his fourth win in the first race of the '51 season, Farina got his fourth in the third race that year. Fangio picked up his fifth win in the following race, and his sixth in the final race of the season.
