    We shouldn't forget that "All in the Family" was itself based on the UK comedy "Till Death Us Do Part".

    Maude was a relative of the Bunkers
    The Jeffersons were neighbors of the Bunkers before they "moved on up to the East Side."

    Married With Children, the Bundys were not related to the Bunkers.
