Considered a delicacy and somewhat of an aphrodisiac, this dish has a name that suggests it is to be served only to one sex. Consisting of various vegetables, it does feature one particular fruit unripened, and the head and feet of a certain ruminant. What is it, and where might one be to find it on the menu?

The closest I've been able to come on this is Armenian "Khash," a delicacy usually served to parties of men and involving the feet and often the head of a cow. It also includes green peppers.

It doesn't quite seem to fit the description, but I'll suggest it anyway, since it it might help others pin down the right answer:

Nice concept, but no, 'fraid not.

The name itself tells us who it should be served to. (in English, too I might add..)

Too bad for us. I was figuring since hops are flowers green peppers are unripe fruit. That just left the aphrodisiac angle.

Gentlemen's relish or garum (in the "See also" part) would be a good answer if we could call anchovies ruminants. Maybe since they travel in schools they think deeply?

Why am I wasting our time being silly? I didn't get enough sleep last night.

OK, that helped. It must be "mannish water." (!!)
Made in Jamaica out of goat parts and various local ingredients, including green bananas.

I've cooked green bananas, usually the big plantain variety, countless times, usually stewed with meat or fish, or fried. Sometimes double fried. They are a staple in many developing nations.

    Couldn't be anything else.

So, does qp get the, um, golden scrotum, as included in this recipe?

    Yes, she does....

Well done qp, and the goats testicles seem to be a highlight in most of the recipes I've come across too.

Just what I always wanted. Thanks. Reminds me of one of my Florida cracker relatives who was digging holes for his fence postes [sic]. He informed us he had to go to the hospital for some testes. I am not kidding.
