Well, actually, they didn't. I fixed it. I believe it said "Lid" Dooley, if I remember correctly. That's another reason I hate these contest questions. They're posted and reposted with the same typos, misspellings, grammatical and punctuation errors, and whoever sets them in the first place has no business writing trivia questions professionally.

Now, by no "short answer" I mean that I want a reference with some information on Lib Dooley and why this might be considered a trivia question. It's just plain stupid to keep typing "New York Yankees" (which I have removed about 10 times) when that doesn't tell us anything about Dooley.

OK. New York Yankees. "For 55 years one thing was certain: If the Boston Red Sox were playing at home in Fenway Park then Elizabeth "Lib" Dooley could be found watching the game in a seat in Box 36-A." "She was a serious student of baseball. When she took her nephews to the game she insisted that they only ask questions during the third, fifth and seventh innings. She wanted them to study the intricacies of the sport. Dom Dimaggio, a former Red Sox player (and Joe's brother) said, "The Red Sox were her whole life from what I could gather."
