    		I think you must mean Fernandel. I had a time locating any confirmation that Banks is called by that name, but I did eventually find a site. Here's information on the actor:

    		Banks of England is the nickname and the actor is Fernand Joseph Désiré Contandin. Whew...that was a hard one to find!
