    This band formed in 1984 in Paramus, NJ and released a self titled debut album in 1990 which attained gold status and a place on the Billboard 200. Three minor hits were spawned from the album and embraced by MTV. They released another album two years later but they had fizzled. They released one more album of cover songs in 1994. Shortly after the band split up. Who were they?
