Who is the richest child in the world of today?

Question #77267. Asked by Ringerguy. (Mar 15 07 10:40 AM)

Athina Roussel, granddaughter of Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis.

Her fortune, estimated at $800 million to $1 billion, comes from her grandfather, fabled Greek shipping tycoon Aristotle Onassis, who was once wed to Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

This was back in 2003. I wonder what she is worth now?

Athina Roussel is 22 years old and married, so we're going to have come up with someone else.

It seems to me that this person can't simply be the minor child of a vastly rich parent but rather, as Roussel was from the age of 3, rich in his or her own right.

She was about to turn 18 years old when that article was written, so if she is at least holding $800 million and noone else was 18 or under, then she would be the richest. Unless by "child" we mean anyone under 18 years of age, in which case she would not have inherited the amount until she turned 18.

Who is the richest person in the world of today?

Although fable, it is usually represented as a metaphor; the concept originated by the arrival of a carriage into the city bearing a little boy who was to become king. Named after the father of this child, it is seen today as a problem that is 'difficult to alleviate'. What is it, who was the child king, and what happened to his ears?
