They were heartbroken at the end of the summer, since they thought they would never see each other again. Sandy’s family suddenly moves and she transfers to Rydell High. Although they are excited to see each other, her move now causes drama between Danny and his old friends and girlfriends. The movie then follows them in their senior year of high school together.
