What movie did the line "Feets don't fail me now" come from?

"The Ghost Breakers", a 1940 Bob Hope movie, spoken by Willie Best as 'Alex'.

"THE GHOST BREAKERS, 1940, directed by George Marshall, screenplay by Walter De Leon, from the play by Paul Dickey and Charles W. Goddard. Starring Bob Hope, Paulette Goddard, Richard Carlson, Willie Best, and Anthony Quinn.

Bob Hope stars as a radio broadcaster on the run from the mob who flees to an island off Cuba with heiress Paulette Goddard and his butler/ “family detainer,” played by the unforgettable Willie Best, only to come up against ghosts and zombies galore. Plenty of silliness and lots of Hope’s trademark one-liners, but the most memorable one is spoken by Best, “Feets, don’t fail me now!”

Western movie question: Movie likely from the 70s, has the climax where a man/boy is racing through the desert to beat a shadow across a certain line to save a girl captured by Indians. He jumps across the line just as a girl, who is covered by a blanket, is being shot by an arrow and plunges off a cliff. He later finds out it was an Indian girl who stood in for her and they are reunited at the end of the movie. Could have been man/wife or brother/sister. Thanks for any help!
