I recall this question from a couple of years ago, and it prompted some refinement of the question then, as it surely does now.

Although Benoist used what we readily recognize as airplanes, there were airline companies operating prior to 1916. The first, opening in 1909, was DELAG, a German airship company that used Zeppelin manufactured ships. More info here:

Now called Aeroflot, the Russian state airline was founded in the 1920's as what?

I'm looking for the name of a TV mini series movie/show. We had rented them from the video store. It's about a boy who is traveling to different worlds looking for pieces of a machine to get him back home (I think.) He is gathering something along his way. He travels to different worlds with a "professor" and maybe another person. Along the way he visits 5-8 different worlds (each was a different movie.) They were all entitled "Somebody and the Land of ???" One world had to do with giant eggs, one world a town of toys, and the end was a land something like a fantasy "Camelot." My children watched these movies anywhere from 1988 - 1993. I'm hoping someone can help me end my frazzled search.
