The Hiroshima Bomb was the most powerful weapon ever used for war.. It was dropped in Hiroshima, Japan during World War-II on August 6, 1945. It was nicknamed "Little-Boy".
Listed are the effects of the explosion:
Maximum temperature at burst point: several million degrees centigrade.
A fireball of 15-meters radius formed in 0.1 millisecond, with a temperature of 300,000 degrees centigrade
Expanded to its huge maximum size in one second.
The top of the atomic cloud reached an altitude of 17,000 meters.
Deadly radioactive debris was deposited by "black rain" that fell heavily for over an hour over a wide area.
Intense thermal heat emitted by the fireball caused severe burns and loss of eyesight. Thermal burns of bare skin occurred as far as 2 miles from ground zero (directly below the burst point). Most people exposed to thermal rays within a 1-kilometer radius of ground zero died. Tile and glass melted; all combustible materials were consumed.
Thousands of people in the surrounding area, if they lived, were diagnosed later with radio-active induced cancers.
Death count reached 140,000.. which doesn't sound like much. There are now Russian torpedos on their newest submarine boats that are almost 10 times more powerful than the "Little-Boy".
You can bet that, sooner or later, the "Little-Boy" will be topped... and you better hope that day is long after your time. Man has created weapons that are more powerful than us, which, in my opinion is completely evil and stupid.

Draconise, where did you find this info?
And to follow up on your closing comments Albert Einstein believes that the human race will go back to fighting with sticks and stones one day, I suppose after most of the world's population gets wiped out by a powerful bomb.

Just to make sure that I'm not misunderstood, by "Draconise, where did you find this info?" I'm not saying or questioning that your info is wrong or unreliable, but that it needs a link to the source by more updated rules mentioned by McGuff, otherwise it will be removed.

The largest nuclear weapon ever tested was the "Tsar Bomba" of the Soviet Union at Novaya Zemlya on October 30, 1961, with an estimated yield of around 50 megatons.

Little Boy, the first atomic bomb dropped on Japan was armed with 130 pounds of uranium 235, denoted about 2,000 feet above the center of Hiroshima with a blast equivalent to about 13 Kiloton of TNT.
Fat Boy, the second atomic bomb dropped on Japan, was armed with a 14. 1 Plutonium 239 core denoted about 1,500 feet above Nagasaki, some two miles northwest of the city's center, with a blast equivalent to about 21 Kiloton of TNT.
Korura, was the primary target, however, cloud cover obscured the city and Nagasaki, the secondary target was bomded An unknown number of survivors from the Hiroshima bombing that made their way to Nagasaki and were bombed again
