    Are there any cities that have free public transportation?

    		In fact there are quite a few cities that have free public transportation. Such cities include Clemson, South Carolina and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. More can be found here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_transportation#Free_systems

    		London does for children and teenagers to 15 (with various conditions) which is rising to 16-17, and also for pensioners (men over 60, women over 65). The fares are incredibly high for everyone else to pay for it though, possibly the highest per mile in the world.
