    For Chinese (Lunar) New Year, either a bouquet of flowers or money in a red envelope is considered good. Money not in a red envelope is considered in bad taste!

    		As a member of a Chinese Association, money in small red envelope, especially when the amount contains lucky numbers such as twos and eights. Small hard semi-sweet candies are also given frequency.
