What is the shape of the Toblerone chocolate bar supposed to represent and who is thought to have approved the patent?

Question #79965. Asked by Brinjal. (May 06 07 12:59 PM)

It's supposed to represent the Matterhorn. This site isn't clear on whether Albert Einstein was actually involved in approving the patent, but he was working as a patent clerk for the Bern office that accepted the trademark:

Yay if. Each piece of toblerone is called an alp and interesting to think Einstein worked in the office and may have approved the trademark.

Discovered in 1899, though previously known from literary sources, this site was thought in antiquity to represent a certain individual's grave or, at least, the place of his death. However, the inscription, which is the oldest-known example of its kind, seems to have nothing to do with a tomb. What is it, where is it, who was supposed to be buried there, and what does any of this have to do with plowing a field?
