How do flies make that "buzzing" noise?

    Question #80149. Asked by blob1. (May 10 07 12:33 AM)

House flies have special muscles that allow them to beat their wings 200 times a second, which is why they make a buzzing noise during flight.

To clarify....Not the muscle but the air current disturbance caused by the motion of the wings controlled by the muscle that flexes 200 times per second!
