What is the difference between pork, bacon, ham, and gammon?

Question #80882. Asked by darkpresence. (May 23 07 3:40 PM)

Bacon is from the back or sides of the pig.
Pork is 'unsalted pig flesh as food.'
Gammon is from bacon and/or ham.
Ham is from the upper part of the pig's leg.

It all depends on where it comes from the pig.
