O.K, U.S. sports fans: my building in Chicago is currently the location of a film shoot involving a young man who was the first member of his ethnic group to win a major American athletic award and who died young at the age of only 23. Who was he, and what is that award?

Brilliant, tn, Ernie Davis it is.

My building is a national historical landmark with a magnificent front entrance and lobby, but as far as we can tell, Ernie Davis had no connection with Chicago. We can only assume that our home is supposed to be standing in for some place in Pittsburgh, Syracuse, or Cleveland. They haven't told us yet.
