    What is Puck's soliloquy?

    Question #81147. Asked by mushu-scooby. (May 28 07 7:03 PM)

The script from Puck's soliloquy is the following:

Else the Puck a liar call.
So, good night unto you all.
Give me your hands, if we be friends,
    And Robin shall restore amends.

This is also the last line spoken in Shakespeare's play, "A Midsummer Night's Dream."

It's a bit longer than that, but yes it's at the end. It explains that if the audience didn't like what they saw, consider it nothing and just a dream. But if they liked it, he invites them applaud.
