    What sort of water should you store for emergencies? Doesn't bottled water "go bad"? Is there a way to get water that will last in bottles for years and be safe and good to drink?

    		Bottled water will not "go bad" unless it's opened, when, like any other food, it can pick up contamination from the environment.

    However, sealed water can acquire a weird taste form its packaging, though it should still be safe to drink for some time.

    		You can get water purification tablets quite easily, too. There's no pick-up of flavour if you get bottled water in glass, but that's probably more expensive.

    Depending on the answers to my other questions, which is better to store as drinking water in case of emergency, bottled, distilled, unsealed tap water, or one or more of the above?

    I know with many things it is bad if you eat or drink too much of it, but is this true also for water? If you happened to drink five gallons of water in one day, healthwise, is it bad to drink that much water?
