    Need help here, my Latin isn't up to much, so can you tell me what "tristus et fidelis" means?

    It's supposed to mean "sad/gloomy and faithful" but that website has it spelled wrong. It should be "tristis et fidelis" with an "i", unless whoever wrote the motto got it wrong... :) Just thought you'd like to know in case you're doing genealogy.
