I read the film 'Suzie Gold' was actually filmed in the Isle of Man, but when I saw it I recognised many local landmarks near my old house. The actual address was Norrice Lea, London N2 and as far as I can see the outdoor shots were exactly there. The Central London shots also looked far too urban to be the Isle of Man, so did the article get it all wrong or did they fool me?

Suzie Gold was filmed over a seven week period in London and the Isle of Man. Locations in London included St John’s Wood and Hampstead Garden Suburb.

The film's opening and closing wedding scenes, were shot at the King David Suite in Marble Arch.

Thanks a lot! Shows how you can't trust the press, there was no way they could rebuild the whole of Norrice Lea on the Isle of Man, they clearly got their wires crossed and claimed it wasn't in London at all. But you can't fool the locals!

In a recent re-run of Butterflies on UK TV Gold, Rea and her husband were seen joining the M40 to go to London. There was also a sign for Cheltenham showing the A40.The only place that I know of where this combination occurs is Oxford. I always assumed that this show was based in London. Does anyone know where it was based and filmed?
