    When and why did Joan of Arc get burned at the stake, and how old was she?

    		Joan was executed on May 30th, 1431 in Rouen. She was 19 years old.

    Why? She was a political pawn between the French and the English. Tried for heresy (her 'voices' plus wearing men's clothing, etc.) She was France's heroine at 17 years and abandoned by the man she'd helped crown by 19 years. Long story....
