All blood cells travel an amazing 60,000 miles around your body every day! So, the length of time it takes for one single blood cell to perform this feat changes from cell to cell.

About one minute. (on average)
The heart pumps approximately 8 pints (5 litres) per minute and the circulatory system (cardiovascular system) contains about the same amount.
Obviously one that does a long journey to your big toe and back will take more time that one that does a "brain run", but next time round they could swap places!
