Who was the oldest human to live, are they still living, and how old are they?

The oldest person whose age could be authenticated was one Jeanne Calment of Arles, France. She died at the age of 122. Among her claims to fame was that she remembered having sold colored pencils to Vincent van Goch. Of course, some will claim the title should rightly go to Methuselah, who - according to the book of Genesis - lived to be 969 years old. This cannot be authenticated.
